What is Proclamation Expeditions? In brief, it is an opportunity for Christians to make a pilgrimage to the biblical land of the Apostle Paul.

Paul was born in Tarsus in what is modern day Turkey. His first, second, and third proclamation journeys all took him through Turkey.

Paul and his companions embarked on their first journey from Antioch of Syria (now Antioch, Turkey) and landed in Antalya on the Mediterranean coast. They proceeded north from Antalya along the Roman Road to Antioch Pisidia (not to be confused with the first Antioch). By the way, followers of Jesus were first called Christians in Antioch of Syria.
