St. Stephen's Greek Orthodox Church

St Stephen’s Greek Orthodox Church is an historic landmark on the small island of Yeşil Ada, in Egirdir, Turkey. Connected to the mainland by a causeway, the island was occupied by a small community of Greeks until the end of World War I.

In 1924 the island was abandoned when its residents returned to their homeland  of Greece.
